We’ve had some AMAZING tweets from our actors and some wonderful conversations. Technical difficulties have abounded, but God is good and we have conquered all of them.

Joanna and Naomi were amazing, as was Thomas, going far and above what they were required to do. Their dialogue back and forth was so cool to read about and kept the whole thing very interesting.

The best part about the rehearsal was the discovery of our weak spots. Most of them revolve around timing and having people show up, common problems for any production :) .

However, even with the timing issues and the absence of some people, the whole thing went off really well. God be praised.

Early in the week one of the crew memebers expressed concern about our lack of numbers. Well that talk got us all inspired to work harder to promote Easter: A Twitter Reenactment, but we determined that we would leave all the results up to God.

And that day, God moved in a mighty way! We were (and are) in need of actors, but in that one day, God provided Paul Rose as Caiaphas, Gabriela Lecea as Joanna, and Anna-Marie Robert as Naomi, all on one day! And that same day both Pamela McNeff (Julia and Carpus) and Jackie Goldstein (Nicodemus) expressed interest in helping out!

Praise the Lord for his mighty works and the ways he moves! And through Pamela, the role of Barabbas was filled by Scott Smith. God has done some amazing things this week!

And, our scripts are now completed. We have two scripts, one that tells what happens and who is there and another that tells who is tweeting when. Both are going to be very helpful. Thank you to Rachel Petersen for getting those together!

It’s been really exciting seeing all this fall into place.  There are some REALLY awesome people working on this, each very talented and hardworking.  I am really looking forward to how it all turns out.

But, just the few people we have working on this aren’t going to be enough.  We need your help!  Not only with talking about this reenactment, but also taking part in the reenactment.   There are still many Twitter roles that haven’t been filled, like Mary the Mother of Jesus, Andrew the Brother of Peter, James, John, Zebedee, Barabbas and MANY others.
