This Easter, join a group of storytellers from www.ChristianFilmmakers.org as they explore these questions and others in Easter: A Twitter Reenactment. Follow a group of actors as they recreate the Easter story in real-time, delving into the emotions of the weekend. Put yourself in the place of a disciple as you trace Jesus’s footsteps from the Last Supper to the cross. Stand by the Pharisees as they hire soldiers to guard the tomb. Run with the women as they go to visit the grave – and find it empty.
To witness the entire reenactment, follow the official EaTR 2010 list on Twitter. Beginning at approximately 3:00 CT on Thursday, April 1st, the reenactment will run through Sunday, April 4th 2010, with scattered rehearsals beforehand. A parallel timeline of Scripture will be broadcast during the event. In the meantime, please explore our website or follow the Narrator to find out more about the reenactment and our mission.
We’ll meet you there!
